By design WolfRecorder is multi-user solution intended which allow strictly divide access of each camera between limited rights users.

You can register as many users as you want

With any of required permissions aka “Roles” right sets

Out of the box, there are three sets of rights:

• Administrator - have access of all features and can manage every settings
• User - have access only for usage of specified cameras, don have access for any settings
• Operator - have usage access for all cameras, cant manage any settings

Also you can fine-tune permission sets for each user individually but in most cases it have no big sense. Just remember that only following modules supports predefined “sets of rights” policy: “My cameras”, “Video from cameras”, “Save records”, “My records”. So that means… that means “just don't touch the default user rights set if you are not sure of the result and how it works”.

You can always log in as this user in “Ghost mode” to check which cameras he actually sees and whether you have done everything correctly

Access of “Users” to registered cameras may be configured using “Cameras access” module

Only selected cameras will be set as accessible for users with set of rights “User” on the fly

User with default “User” rights set will limited only with following accessible modules and can use only cameras specified for him
